Our take
Frozen raw at Costco is a real step up from Kirkland kibble and we will say so out loud. What it cannot give you is rotation, a novel protein when a dog starts itching, or someone to call in week two.
What the label says
Costco's frozen raw (Canino) is real raw food: muscle meat, organ and bone. We respect that, and we tell customers honestly: for a healthy adult dog on a tight budget it is a legitimate step up from any kibble. The gap between it and what we sell is rotation, novel proteins, and the person on the other side of the counter when something goes sideways.
